Description

This is Route 3 not far from the USA / Canada border. Signs along this road read "Moose Actively Crossing Next 12 Miles" Operative word here is ACTIVELY. Most signs up here simply read "Moose Crossing" Anyway - it is a beautiful location as shown in my previous upload. Very rural but still things to see and do. Thank you as always for your kindness here!

This really nice. Two questions: Is this a current photo taken in 2014? Where (between which state and province)?

Pic is not from 2014. Its in New Hampshire. I would suspect colors would be similar to these up there now.

So lovely! My one time encountering a moose was in the dark on a little road in Northern Idaho, and the only part of the moose I saw was his skinny legs as he just missed the front of my car...that will get your adrenaline running, let me tell you! I'd love to see them doing moosey things, but we just have deer and the occasional bear around here...

Great shot. That sign means keep your eyes open, or you will wind up on the short end of the stick. I had a close encounter once, and it wasn't any fun!
