This new chapter of Misty and Drew's series has a number of suggetions at its basis:
watchin a mode magazine I was hit by an advertisig picture of Dolce&Gabbana
(whose clothes I don'treally like btw) showing a chinese blonde babe and another female in strange position
caressing her on the front: I loved straight that hand on the face, and the position the sitting model was keeping
her hand on the naked tight of the woman that was "like measuring fever" on her.
Like it always happen, that image was just so impressing me that I could't avoid, days later,to try
to replicate that gesture, even having no more the magazine under eyes.Naturally, I tried to create
a scene that could fit my passion these days, and I thought again about Misty and Drew as characters there.
(For the record, I dressed Misty with my clothes last week, included my beloved suede boots: better
than Dolce&Gabbana at any day;).That chair instead is inspired by a Korean ideogram...).I know the male body is very flat
and stylized but I am reading Ryoko Ikeda's life and her art for manga and anime has certainly
influenced me too lately :)
So there you go ;).
There is also a new chapter of Misty and Drew's erotic tales that has been created by me but that
of course can't be shared here ;)

the way you combined the black and white figures with the red rooms gives loads of contrast... i like that a lot :))

Great concept but the proportions on his body are really off and the shading on his midsection makes it look as if his abs have sunken inwards

You still impress me so much, being able to draw people like this without reference... and when you gave Cassie and I the preview of this, we both agreed that Misty must be an "alter-ego" self-portrait... I'm with dtp, the face and hair is too much like you to be otherwise, I think :-) :-)
I'm with Metrini too, the shading on his abdominal muscles gives his stomach a pointed "corner" edge to my eyes, but no way will it be an easy thing to get right! More than anything else I love the shading of her/your hair, very nicely done indeed! See you tonight sweetie HUGS :-)

The contrast between the red room and the bw figures is very interesting. And the poem showing what the red is standing for is also very nice.

Reminds me of the alliterative pun that draftsmen used to use when Drew Pearson, the Washington columnist, would criticize one of their designs. "Drew drew it!" I love how he steps on the private parts of his imagined rival!

You see this is how I don't understand how you don't consider yourself an artist. First of all, your proportions are right, and secondly you say this only took you 1hr and 20 min to draw?? It would take me much longer than that to do this. I'm very jealous, actually, Mi. This is wonderful work!!
