The beach is to the left. There's a wetlands area there, a protected area although there is a walking/biking path through it along the coastline. It's a habitat for water birds. We saw a family of swans feeding there just off shore. And there are some of the biggest trees I've seen since I was in California back in the 60's. I'll definitely be back there again, with my big camera next time.
