Description

Once more for my mom. Deep in her mind it's me, but she sees me as more than one person, usually telling me that the 'girls' visited her or the girls are taking her to tea. Mom has Alzheimers and this is my interpretation of her mind... Enjoy.. I did doing it and she loves it so that's all good... I think of you all here with fondness but not here as often as I used to be, too busy with duties now... for now it's more important... Tech info: graphite on bristol, have already sprayed with fixative and working on the colored version... regards, Patricia

I've really missed your wonderful artwork, and I'm sorry to hear the reason for your absence in the galleries. This is a superb interpretation of your mother's state of mind, and more poignantly, of your response to her situation. I have a favourite uncle descending into Alzheimer's, so I can relate to this very powerful statement. Everything of the best. Craig.
