No time for serious work, so just playing again.
For Carraraistas: The Ironman set is the ONLY set I've used recently that required NO tweaks to look good in Carrara - great stuff! Three lights: A spot above stove, and two widely separated bulbs, all using soft shadows. I added 3% glow and 5% tranlucency channels to the fabulous Mihrelle skin to simulate subsurface scattering - it looks good and is WAY faster to render. No postwork at all except for the logo.
In addition to the credited items, MANY Trekkiegrrrl freebies, Trustyles Kitchen Addons and the Daz Countertop Appliances round out the items used.

She is a beautiful character. You did an excellent job with the lighting and all of the textures. If she wants any help eating that cold pizza, tell her to shove a slice in my direction. I wouldn't want her to have to eat alone. Oh, and I think you left something on the fridge. Excellent work.

Soooo wait, Carrara reads ALL the lighting of a Poser scene too?!?! mouth hangs open.... I did not know this... (and only tried figures in the outdoors, in Howie's scenes before and they rendered terrible. Your piece is so perfectly lit...love it all but for the hair...it does not seem to like the lighting or something?

Sorry, no, Poser lights don't make it into the scenes. Unfortunately, you have to add your own Carrara lights of the appropriate types to make it all work. Also, frequently, you have to tweak the textures on Poser / Studio scenes, props and character skins to get them to look good. A bit of a pain, but worth the effort.
