Hi all,
Got a new machine recently, AMD Phenom x3, 3gig ram, wireless cofee maker etc.etc. And upgraded to 6.1 so now i can use IBL, soft shadows and all the other stuff that used to make renders take forever, woohoo!
So,
all modelled and rendered in bryce 6.1 using IBL, although I (over)did the blur effect in photoshop. Simple boolean operations on a cylinder.

Btw, my network connection is currently really, really slow so im not commenting much, but some peolpe have been posting some really great images. You know who you are!!

I don't know about the "over" blurred observation. It actually looks pretty good from here. Very nice clean image, the booleans specifically. I remember years ago doing some in Bryce and they were not so clean edges-wise. So, well done. Makes me want to check out Bryce again.
