I love it when an item inspires me. WilMap made available a Pleated Dress for G2F, which is free by the way, that looks amazing. So, I had to place it on my Meredith character I've been working on. I wanted to see both the dress and how Meredith looks in an actual scene, not just posed on a blank stage. Lighting can always break an image, but I kept this one simple... just an ambient light and a directional like to simulate the Sun. No fancy backlighting or fill lights. Sometimes, simple is still the best. I did soften the shadows a bit and add a depth of field to the camera. Doing both though seems to have created a glitch. The soft shadows don't blur properly in the blurred area of the depth of field. You can see the scatter pattern that usually goes away in the final render. I might have to send this to Daz to see if they can explain that one. Wendy, aka WilMap, thanks for the Dress. I can see using it quite a lot.
