I wanted to do a special post because there are a lot of people that are really ill. I tried to think of how to do it and decided that we are all much like coworkers. So I made up this big get well card for all of us to sign. Leave a get well comment and your name will be added.
Laurie, webshadow, is home and resting from heart surgery and DOING GREAT! She is even on-line a little.
Karen, RNKarenER, has a cerebral lesion. She has resumed posting Ė check out her gallery!
Hal, Halcion, is suffering from very debilitating and excruciatingly painful neurological problems in his extremities and is under the very most potent medication.
We think of Renderosity as a place to post our art work and writing, but it is something much more than any art gallery. When Kate first IMíd me about Laurie, within thirty minutes that message had been passed around through other IMís until it was relayed to me six times. God only knows how many friends had read those words and immediately passed it on to their friends.
Renderosity is a community and we are all residents here. We ďvisitĒ each otherís galleries and it is like stepping into our friendís living room. We see what they have been up to and they in turn check on us. There are almost a million images posted here and almost five million active IM (I think Iíve written half of them.) We are interlocking circles of friends that wrap around and around the globe. My friend list has over 500 names in it and grows daily. I suspect that each of you is also linked to many, many friends.
And now, three of our dear friends are in trouble and just like a small town, we all spring to their aid. Iíve lost count of the dedications I have seen in the last twenty-four hours. It is an amazing outpouring of friendship and concern.
I ask that everyone keep Laurie, Karen, and Hal in your thoughts, hearts, and prayers as they all need all the help we can offer. Iím very proud to be their friend and I am very proud to be yours!!!!
I've just found out from Richard, yesitis3, that Lissa_lei in Australia, Ladyhawk in Canada, and Irene in California (or Germany?) are also very ill. Iíve been told that Irene has a lung problem and Lina (lissa lei) has a blood problem and gets transfusions on a regular basis and that Ladyhawk has a lung problem from black mold.
Please keep Fossy, (webmasterfossy) very close to your hearts and in your prayers as he is fighting a very difficult battle with cancer.
Please keep Rick's (Richabri) wife Bev similarly in your hearts and prayers as she too is battling with cancer.
Please add Koty (bonbonish), Evie (evielouise) and her friend Ofelia, Diane, (DIANE603), Lisa, (LadyLisa), Renate, (PANIC912), Dwayne (RETIRED), Shirley, (TheMadPainter), Pierre, (pjero), and Ranko, (animadeus) to your prayers.

Although we know that life has its ups and downs, it is indeed difficult to go through the downs but with the prayers and healing thoughts from others the bumps in the road of life smooth out...I will add my thoughts of healing and prayers toward recovery for those who suffer from illness....
I have only visited a few of these people's galleries, but even so, I will keep them all in my prayers. It is nice to know that this community cares so much. I pray this will lift their spirits and give them strength through whatever they maybe going through. I pray that God will give them strength and peace thru this time as only He can. You truly have a wonderful heart coming up with this idea. I hope they all get well soon so that we may continue to enjoy their art.
What a wonderful way to show we do care what is going on in our artist community. It's so sad there has to be ill health and pain in this world and when it touches such sweet loving people it wounds the heart and shadows the soul. No one needs these things, but what they do need or we all do need we should never take for granted we already have. That is caring and loving friends who pray and wish us all good things. I thought one time, I guess it was just the other day, because it was prayer day, that if everyone around the world would just really do it..really pray..doesn't matter religion.. that a whole lot of people would feel that healing power. Even if one prays strong and with their heart it's a healing balm so I definately will put out some strong heartfelt prayers for all these wonderful people. God Bless.
Illness May Be The Cruelest Experience Of All! Striking Indiscriminately Without Care Or Warning, Striking The Young & Old Alike. Illness Can Be Mild Or Life Altering, Not Only For The Ones Suffering, But Also For The Many Friends And Family Caring For The One So Afflicted. Technology Can Only Go So Far, Heal So Much, Then The Rest Is Left To Strength Of Will, And The Love Of Those Gathered Around. Its At Times Like These When So Many Strangers Coming Together That The Magic Happens People Showing Support For Those That Weve Come To Know Through Their Wondrous Artworks. Their Pictures Telling Stories Of Their Creator, Telling Us What They Are Made Of, And Of The Real Person They Are Inside. So Many Here Have Touched Me, More Than Words Can Easily Say, Or The Comments Ive Left In My Passing, But Each And Every Artwork That Ive Viewed Has Touched Me So Very Deeply Just The Same. So Let Me First Say Thank You To Each And Every Person That Shares A Little Piece Of Themselves Each Time They Post An Artwork. And To Laurie, And Karen, Hal, And Richard, Lina, And Ladyhawk, Irene, And Uwe, Rick, And Koty, Evie, And Ofelia, Daine, And Lisa, Renate, And All Those Now Battling With Illness, Please Be Strong, For You Have Touched Us More Than You Realize, And So Many Thoughts And Prayers Are With You, That Never Are You Alone In Your Battle
Hope you're feeling better as I type this. As do many others. Such a great show of support from so many people within this community. Its very nice to see and has to put a big smile on your face. I know it would mine. Hurry back! We're all thinking of you.
I have no clue how to list allllll the people I know including myself that have or have been through some illness and/or trauma and/or personal tragedies. I just know that I am glad you are doing this for the people here and that I will keep them all in my hearts as I do my own people. Prayers are awesome!!
