I've stared at this for 20 minutes. What a hauntingly sad face. The title suits this perfectly. The deep tones combined with the earthiness of the face just amazes ... Excellent work, beyond words to suit but totally magnificent... It's so .... wow...

Well... Not really a self-portrait, but it has elements of me (well, beyond the eyes, nose and mouth - ha). It seems the creator of art tends to create in his own image -- perhaps mimicking our own Creator.

Terrific. Seems ages since you last posted. As always, the face really draws you in to the meaning of the picture.

Very good image Duncan and even though it's your face, I can relate directly and very personally to it! Thanks!
