Description

I saw you once, Medusa; we were alone. I looked you straight in the cold eye, cold. I was not punished, was not turned to stone - How to believe the legends I am told? -May Sarton, 1978 Well, simply a work in progress, but after a week of fiddling, I need a break! Things to follow include the snake bodies (of course), adding another division and texturing the skin, and polypainting. So, I'm guessing at least another week. But until then, poor Medusa can be gazed upon with impunity.

No, it's not the sample file--although I'm flattered that you thought it might be! (the sample file is MUCH better, really). All the components were made from scratch following along with the tutorial. I thought I had mentioned the book in the notes (as I did on my other projects here), so my bad there, as it is a fantastic crash course in 3D modeling.

Earlier I asked if this was DPW's own work or the sample from a book....my mistake and apologies. Truly excellent work. Keep it up. Keep learning at this rate and Hollywood better watch out.
