There is a technical term used in the jargon of film crews to describe rehearsals: "mechanics".The cinematographer and his assistant refines the final adjustments,the director and the script writer are over the worktop, the actors do a final test.the last repetition for everyone before the shooting.The film world is a world traditionnel.Even if the equipment used has evolved, the craftsmen's tradition remains, and the atmosphere of movie set are the same today as in 30's!A "mechanics" at the time D.Fairbank
