Description

I wanted to have a go at modelling something using only the modelling tools available in Vue4 - this is the result. The Mars Buggy is made entirely from boolean shapes and textures available in the standard Vue4 package. The only post-processing done is a little bluring of the background and foreground with photoshop. If anyone is interested in the model I can post it to the free stuff pages. Comments welcome. Enjoy!

Good use of DOF, and good model. I don't know if you were goind for a stream-lined look or not, but I think the vehicle may look better with some more detail. Perhaps added to the end of the cyclindrical body funing parallele along the top of the main portion the vehicle, or perhaps add a bumb map based on an image of some irregular metal plates or something. Nothing big, all matters of personal taste. Great job modeling using just Vue!

thanks for your comments. I was originally modelling some kind of space ship but then as I was messing around with the torus shapes and the wheels came out as well as they did - I decided to turn it into a land vehicle. I agree, a land based vehicle wouldn't need to be so streamlined
