Description

In case you have never come across a Mara before they are rather timid creatures that look a bit like a cross between a gaint hare and a small deer. Snapped this one at Wingham animal park in the S.E. of England. (he was nice enough to let me crawl up quite close) Hope you like it.

WOW!!! What a beautiful capture. SOOOOO SHARP!!!! Looks like a cross between a donkey and a rabbit of some kind, lol. Oooh...now i read your notes...silly me....of course its more like a hare and a deer. Beautiful capture regardless. Have a great day #:O)

Never saw a mara before (or heard of it for that matter). Thought the picture might be of a kangaroo when I saw the thumb. Excellent photo, very crisp detail.
