Description

As I was taking this photo, another photographer who simply could not wait, pushed past me and pointed his little camera at the same flower. I have no idea what result he got, but in a strange way I really like this. I have tried Ronnie's fix but for me it's not working. The colour on the large image is much better. I left this site for a few years it was not a problem then, so something must have happened to the way the images are stored or shown

I like it too mate, great result, these opportunist moments are the best, I recall shooting mushrooms in Bournemouth, only to have Dee suddenly point at the mushroom. just as I pressed the shutter, but it made for an interesting shot :} BTW check tes mail, I need a bit of advice from you

Sometimes interference with a photograph actually MAKES the photograph; I like those sorts of happy accidents. I guess if we were telepathic, we could simply warn people out of our shots, but how many found shots would we miss! I also suspect you got the better shot, as the other photographer is going for the more obvious "let's look down the throat" angle, and well...that's just so passe! Brilliant, wonderful, crisp, fun, and oddly self-referential (at least in terms of a photographer in a photograph) shot! Brilliantly seen.

The camera of the other other photographer works very well here. It makes your shot very interesting. Very nice capture. Well done.

Great shot! I've had that sort of thing happen to me as well. There's no excuse for "jumping the queue" when taking shots of a flower or scenery. After all, unlike an animal or insect, it's not going to go anywhere!
