Description

Thankyou for visiting. You are appreciated. 14 aftershocks in Christchurch today. Just as the city was beginning to recover, once again the streets are strewn with broken bricks and masonary; barriers are up again in the heart of the city; businesses and shops have been wrecked. Fear stalks the city. People are hurting so badly. Strong men are hgaving fits of trembling; kids can't sleep. Other stuff. It is really terrible. They have had more than 3 500 aftershocks.Nobody killed; just hopes and dreams destroyed.

Your fractal represents quite well the shock waves that spread over the crust in your region of the Pacific. You seem to attend the shocks of Mythology Titans! How to mentally withstand this succession "programmed" to NFLUENCE warrior plate tectonics! New Zealand is geographically isolated. His nearest neighbor, Australia, is located 2000 km north-west. The nearest land is the Antarctic continent to the south, and New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga to the north. It is part of a continent called Zealandia, 93% submerged. Zealandia is almost half the size of Australia and is remarkably long and narrow. There are about 25 million years, a change in the movements of tectonic plates began to stretch Zealandia forcefully. Among the submerged regions of Zealandia, we find the Lord Howe Plateau, the plateau Challenger, Campbell Plateau, Norfolk Ridge and the plateau of Chatham.

You lace curtain is very nice and soft. Could it alleviate the pain. When hopes and dreams are disturbed, which is like a spiritual terror attack. It hurts in a profound way. It is sad to read what has already happened in Christchurch. Love to you and yours, dear Merren.

Stunning fractal, superb work. I know NZ is in a very seismically unstable area along the Pacific Ring of Fire and it's turbulence has been peaking in the last few years. The thing I wonder about is all the Cycles peaking at the same time, Volcanic/Seismic, Atmospheric/Weather, Solar/Universal...all peaking at the same time, maybe those are not After Shocks but Precursors of a Global scale onslaught, 2012 is approaching fast. Peace

Magnificent fractal work. I am very sorry to hear about the ongoing aftershocks. The New Zealanders i know are a very hardy bunch and capable of most anything they set thier minds to, but at the same time i also know the devastation that such a prolonged and continual feeling of insecurity and not having any ability to control the situation takes a strong emotional toll on even the strongest of psyches. We will be thinking of you and your fellow countrymen (and women). The fact no one has been killed is the best news there is out of all this mess. Buildings can always be replaced but people cant be.

A wonderful fractal with a very lacy feel to it. The quakes were a blow but they are a hardy bunch up there and they will pick up and start again. My friends are very philosophical about it but are hurting all the same.

Dear Merren, This is a very beautiful FE. Not only about the earthquake, but I am also very sorry to hear about the pain in your lungs. Perhaps this fractals symbolizes this pain. I hope you will recover soon.

Hi...thanks for your visit to my gallery. I hadn't seen yours before, and don't have time to look right now, but I will be back to visit. This is a splendid image. Ghostly and delicate and beautiful. As for a grand tour of Swoopy Pipeworld. You should download Mandelbulb 3D, it's free at FractalForums. Just copy and paste the parameters...it's a blast. Losts of good tutorials at Deviant Art.
