Somehow this song came to my mind when i saw these houses.
Usually i don't use effect filters on my images, but in this case it helped to create my vision of coloured little boxes.
Btw: the sky ain't faked, it looked really quite dramatic on this afternoon.

There's something to be said I think for being a "traveller". We DO indeed live in little boxes, constrained as we are by the walls we so crave to own (in the UK anyways). My, thay sky is superb BTW. I love the hyper colour you put into your images Mr B. They are great! (or does my monitor need re-calibrating?)

Der Vergleich mit den Boxen stimmt. Hatte auch schon solche Gedanken, wenn ich vom Berg auf die Stadt geschaut habe. Klasse Foto. Die saturierten Farben geben dem Bild Dramatik. Echt gut gemacht.

Your boxes look so much better than our boxes and are probably not made of ticky-tacky. Beautiful image. I like the pastel colors and that sky is stunning.

In the former GDR the people lived in Arbeiterschließfächern / Plattenbauten. In Bavaria they do too, a little bit more in comfort, but they suffer the same way of narrow minds. Erratic Seehofer should keep in mind, the people of the GDR washed away any dictatorship. We need now a shot of boxed-houses in Tennessee.
