Description
This was taken from the East Gate.
The Cathedral was built circa 1200 and the tower is 252 feet high. In the early days there was a spire which took it up to 504 feet which made it, at the time, the tallest building in Europe but it became dangerous due to the weight and subsidence so it was taken down.
