Hi everybody,
My name is Dana Pommet and my wife’s name is Josephine. I was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in 1942, and except for a tour in the Navy, lived there for most of my life. I retired to Delray Beach, Florida in December 2000. We love to travel and photography goes hand and hand with that. I went digital about 5 years ago and started posting November 22, 2008. I have met so many wonderful people on RR and that makes this whole process so much more interesting than just posting photos. Thanks for all the comments and keep them coming.
Update  January 2012: After hiding and denying my mild Dyslexia, for most of my professional life, and now fighting with its advancement – I want to thank you all for putting up with my poor typing skills and spelling problems. I know that my spell checker hates me and I now depend completely on audio books rather then actually reading printed books.  Life marches on!  ÂÂ

Nice to see you with a parrot on your hand. A great shot. I once had the problem that the images were not displayed, especially at Renderosity. In other galleries (deviantart, Flickr and so on), the images were displayed, even in the Google image search. It was the firewall, they blocked the images due outdated certificates, what ever that means. My son has changed something in the settings of the firewall and it worked again.

That little person is quite similar to my Orange Winged Amazon, Byron! Thankyou for leaving so many comments, Dana, especially when it is so very tricky! You are a hero, I should lose the will to live myself.

Birds such as parrots can be such lovable creatures. Especially when they're willing to perch in your hands. :) I hate Windows 8 by the way. Still sticking to Windows 7!

I love parrots, great pic. Liz who bred Meadow & Jasmine has a parrot, Gabbie. I love her & she talks for England. She even asks Liz questions, she goes, "Liz, Liz, have I had my narna today." meaning her banana. She knows the dogs & cats by name. She asks Liz if she wants a cuppa or if she is going shopping. She is amazing. xx

It's so good to see you, Dana, even though I miss you moustache here . And what a hungry bird, bananas are definitely his favorite. But what a lot of work for you now, with two computers, I really hope that this will quickly go easier, my friend.
