The reflections are wonderful, and I like what you did with the selective coloring. I'm sure you know how much I like this!!

I think maybe the goldfish will eat them! Like Tara said, nice reflections and selective color. Can't quite tell what's behind the goldfish bowl except that it's in kilograms.

Uh oh! It looks like Goldy is going to have a bigger role in this luncheon than he expected! Nice shot, and it's great to see you posting again.

Love your shot BB and I can see most of the things you mentioned - great fun finding them and I can see that the fish weighs 27.75 grams.

Haha, great to see you here again, my dear Gittie!!! And it was about time you could excite our imagination again. There is much that I can imagine on this special image. How life is at 'The Gold-Coast'! ;-) Cheers, I see your wine in it, and are the dishes done in the mean while, liebes?

Ok, I'm back for a full comment. First, you said there were lots of details in this. Ok, I'll do my best, lol. Well first of all there's a great shot of a fish, all distorted by the curve of the bowl. I don't know if he's really that big or just "appears" to be that big, but he's kind of the dominating center for the image. Then there are things on the bottom of the bowl. They actually look like pears! But I think they're rocks. (Potatoes? Maybe the goldfish is a potato freak!) Then there is a box of something that is either in the bowl or seen through the bowl. Top right, kind of. Then lots of plant things, floating upwards. And the reflection on the bowl is really full: Bottles in the background, maybe those are spices. I think wine. Or a bottle or two of something. (Mies says it's wine, so it must be wine!) There's a car in the background, and maybe a book standing up. And you did the bowl in color, while the kitchen is black and white---very effective dividing of the pic into 2 halves, or better, 2 worlds. In the kitchen, I see 3 plates, and it looks like either pita bread on them, or pizza (maybe), or some kind of flat pastry. And lots of dishes, pots, etc in the background on a stove with lots of controls/buttons. (Right? Maybe it's a space ship!) (In your kitchen---right!) And the feeling that we're looking at 2 distinct universes, butting into each other. Love how you did that---the world of the goldfish and the world outside: two worlds completely different, but butting into each other. And the bowl shows all kinds of stuff outside it (in reflection). A delightful collision of sights, real and reflected. And the contrast of colors and shapes and black and white is exciting. Delightful work, Brigitte. And it's great to see you post again!

(I don't know if you even want my original comment, but in the rare chance that you would, here it is, in all its idiotic glory!)

"Brigitte! I missed these! I'm sorry! You have 2 new uploads, and I just plain missed them! Well, I get so lost in the "Activity Feed," and I miss a number of pieces. You're not alone. But ok---I have to go now, I've been called away: But I'll return later today, and I'll comment on both of your new pieces. That's a promise. It's always great when you show up here with your art. And I love this goldfish piece, and the little dialogue. (Aren't goldfish carp? I hope I didn't miss something! We never had goldfish pizza, but there were people in college who dared each other to eat goldfish, alive---which I thought was barbaric---but they did.) Anyway, I'm going to return and I'll write a real comment, and I'll post it then. (I'll take this one down. Or add to it.) But for now---I see that you've uploaded, and I'm thrilled. I hope your approaching summer is a sweet one. See you soon!"
