Description

Leopard 2 A4 Surprise surprise ... its another tank. A modern German made MBT (main battle tank) first produced around 1979. -almost 3 million polys -1 week spent gathering reference -6 days modelling Total snack food consumed during modelling process: -4 2ltr bottles of coke -127 assorted biscuits -4 blueberry muffins -7 twix bars -1 entire birthday cake +I really hate texturing so its going to stay in this fetching mid-grey lambert colour scheme for a while. comments welcome...

Great model there. I think the Leopard 2 looks like a German tank with the flat sides like a Tiger 1 or a PZKW IV. I like to texture it is the UV mapping that I detest so much.

Wow, fantastic model! And I can sympathise with texturing! Even the greatest model can look rubbish if the texturing is not the best. Plus I hate texturing as well!

Love the attention mate. Jaw dropping work. How about a little environment to place the tank in. Just a suggestion. Nice

As always excellent quality. No need for textures when the models are that detailed:)

ok first off, 3million not 33million polys!! if it were 33mil id still be rendering it! and its just plain old maya renderer using a light dome+ 1 raytrace spotlight.
