Description

I've been promising for a while now that we'd present a picture with all of our Elizabethan characters in it, so here it is. Whilst it was rendered in Cinema 4D, all the characters are derived from Victoria 2 and Michael 2. I really can't take much credit for this, apart from advice on lighting and a bit of Photoshop work. All the rest is down to my partner in time, and the other half of virtuallyhistorical, Phurst: modeling, costumes and characterization of Poser figures. We hope you like, Mak & Pete

Hey this is a great render, you have really captured the mood of the court and the lighting is great and don't put yourself down if I tried to use Cinema 4D it would look like 8 bits of coal in a dungeon. By the way i'm from Leicester the title caught my eye.

Incredibly rich and very detailed... my only comment would be to increase the level of anti-aliasing here. Excellent work!

Very nice done! Did you know Elizabeth send Leicester for a two years to Holland to help prince William against the Spaniards? Well, the shipsurgeon on Leicesters ship, he decieded to stay in Holland when the rest of the group returned to England, as he had met a Dutch girl in Utrecht. And that shipsurgeon became one of my ancestors in a straight line. Always makes me think of it when I see Leicester coming up somewhere. An Excellent composition and great work on historical detail!
