Dad you definitely have a perceptive eye. You certainly captured a beautiful shadow. The shadow reminds me of a sports logo. This photo is well focused, sharp, earthy with a brilliance of bright yellow. Great job !

That shadow has that star trek kinda badge look. They use for communications. Nice find and TOD shot.

In this little gem, you have a pock-marked surface, which feels like another planet. The long 2-pronged shadow is like an antenna. And the leaf---which is at a perfect perpendicular angle to the shadow---is like the object on which that antenna rests. These shots are like studio work, only outside; the poses, the crops and compositions, and their minimal-ness, are marvelous. Plus, of course, your signature early light...
