Dear Philippe, I've had a running discussion for the last several days regarding Vue and Poser. How long does it take you to render a scene like this? I would guess that most of the complexity is from the vegetation. In our architectural renders at work, typically the landscaping mas many times the polygons of our buildings. This scene si as lovely as the rest in the series. Her uplifted face as she tracks the doves is very fetching. You gallery is alwasy the home of beauty! Excellent work!! Love, Meredith

The time to return images as these, in "Vue", depends strongly on options taken in the parameters of the atmosphere and on the light. We are going to say between four and twelve o'clock on one "Pentium 4, 3.60GHz, 2Go Ram". All my last images use the volumetric atmosphere, the volumetric light, the sweet shadows and, sometimes, a light vagueness of depth of field to mask the imperfections of the foreground. The render is obtained in mode "ultra". I always use the mode of standard illumination. I have make several attempts in global radiant illumination (radiosity), I was not personally satisfied by the result. There is an image in my gallery "Soleils couchants" which was calculated, so. It would be necessary to work with the global radiant illumination a lot to obtain good results. The present objects in the scene color the light and spread this light in the final scene, the aspect of the image becomes very unpredictable. Without speaking about the time of calculation of the image which flies away towards several days, if we want to preserve the volumetric effects. It is necessary to adapt its choices in results which we want to obtain. The sweetness is a delicate alchemy...
