I'm back. Been a very long time. Computer drives failed and in the process of failing scraped years of work and memories right off the platters. Gone, even with great recovery work attempted.
Its taken awhile to get over it and other life glitches less technical but I've begun to piece things back together. Bit and byte by byte and bit.
This is from what I think of as my therapy sessions. Where it began no one would recognize so I will let it go up without much preamble. CS2 and PSP9 were used. No drawing tablet.
I look forward to looking in on all the many works that have been put up by everyone that I've missed.
Thanks for looking.

I'm so sorry to hear you lost so much and know how it can feel. I am so determined not to have it happen to me again I now have 2 backups of everything on portable hard disks. I even have my runtimes backed up now because reloading and rebuilding them the way I like them is something I dread.
Just as I opened this, my clumsy cat jumped on top of the TV and knocked the speakers and all the remotes onto the ground (not making this up). So, the little black-and-white Rorschach blot at the bottom is looking more and more like a KittyKat cat skull! Sorry to hear about your HD ordeal. My daughter's drive failed recently and I spent most of last weekend recovering the files from it with Data Rescue from ProSoft. http://www.prosofteng.com/products/ The crashed HD wouldn't mount, but it was still operating. Anyway, it might be worth a shot if your drive is still spinning. Good luck.
