Description
I once went to Miami, South Beach and watched some experts fly kites in co-ordination to music and was entranced. I came home bought a kite and learned to do the same and then bought a few more kites and then bigger and more powerful ones LOL (typical male I hear the women say LOL) anyway I found them fun and the larger kites gave me exercise and a way of leaving the ground cheaper than flying although perhaps more dangerously LOL

I didn't know what they were until I read your text Rob. Maybe you should take some of them with you when you move to Greece. If you plan to go to Mykonos there is a wind most of the year. Maybe you can get something started there and become famous lol! Great shot!!

My first thought were flying fish LOL These dragons are soo beautiful. If I had had them as a child, I would have perhaps had more stamina and my father offered a challenge. Just goes to show: typical man! Very windy image ....smile

This is a very nice shot. I also own 3 kites they are in the basement. One is self build/sewn and it is so fast that I was already drawn on my stomach behind....

Good for you Dotthy they are good exercise :) I have some 4 line power kites 4.5m, 3.5m and 2.5m kites that pull really strongly and are great for exercise and sometimes lift me off the ground :)

There's a river front park with lots of open area and no trees where there is a lot of kite flying happening. Next time I will have my camera! This is a wonderful picture!!
