Trying the "Yoanna" Hair
No matter how long I let this "cook" its still a little bit grainy from the low light situation.
The lights are already a little brighter than I would have liked.

At first I agreed with PhilW about the pose, but is that your regular model, Vickie? If this is an intro to a new actor, I think the pose works really well. At least it does for me. The pose says ok here I am, take a look, and her expression is anything but shy. The room is really exquisite and masterfully lit. The graininess would definitely be a distraction for a finished work. What resolution settings did you use for the final render?

The dress is fine. The room is gorgeous, even the lights are in good shape. But if you extend all the horizontal lines to the disappearing point you will see that the woman is way too tall. That point should be as high as her eyes, assuming she is just the same height as the cameraman.

At first glance I thought wow this is very good. I hope you don't mind but you asked for critical and non critical comments. Of course you can take my comments with a grain of salt :). You have a very good eye. The things keeping this from being a truly great image are the noise and over exposed lighting on the walls and ceiling. If you look closely at V4 you will see she needed more render time. The skin is to blotchy. Part of that could be because of the lighting. I'm not sure how you lit this scene, if you just used the lamps from the walls and ceiling or have a mesh light, I would have turned down the gain a bit on the wall lamps and ceiling lamp, and also lowered the glossiness on the surfaces just a bit more. That will also help with the amount of noise in the scene. If you used a mesh light or two you can control he lighting better and the noise reduction should go way down. I would really like to see this scene re done, but I know that can be a pain. I hope these tips will help in your next render.

There have been a lot of comments about the pose before and I have to agree that I was also not sure about it myself. But the more I watch the picture the more it reminds me of the movie "Shining". So, in my humble opinion, you created something pretty intense. Thumbs up!
