How interesting! I really like this kind of events. Is like live the history. Only went to one in Old Bethpage village in NY, years ago. They don't look very well coordinated LOL

hi! :-D how nice to 'see' both of you!!! it was hilarious! and NOISY! there was a young boy there covering his ears with his hands, crying. his mother was worried his ears had exploded! ;-D lots and lots of gunpowder and 'explosions'... (on the next pic they all vanished in smoke! ;-)) (meant cloud near the man btw. not 'by', that w.b. dutch ;-D) coordinator on the left! LOL (giving childish orders) that was the intention... (re)live history! lots of big boys & girls dressed up & acting 'funny', 'acting' keyword here def. their hobby, some went comp. over the top and they all had cell phones, digi cameras, plastic bags, drank cola, etcetera ;-D or had 'modern people' sitting next to them therefore didn't even try to make 'decent pics' apart from all the 'fireworks', they also demonstrated how to clean their guns ('coordinator' told them to) with a SCREWDRIVER! ;-D so that was fun to watch there were 2 groups 'performing', 1 from Holland, 1 from Belgium last 1 has a great website! http://www.le3eme.com/

Cool picture! I used to reenact in an American Civil War group, and - yes - I can testify to just how noisy black powder arms can get. (However, it is nothing in comparison to a like number of modern guns being touched off at once! That is far louder! I prefer black powder volleys, thank you.)
