"You will probably have to invite me." She raised her hand and pointed to her credit card. "Mine is unfortunately not valid here."
"Oh, where did you come from then?", he asked. His eyebrows moved upwards and it seemed as if his already stinging eyes pierce even more intense in her. She wondered whether if she should answer him. She must not tell everyone on the nose, where she came from.
"Anyway, I do not know a good cafe's here."

"Sie werden mich wohl einladen müssen.", sie hob ihre Hand und zeigte dem fremden Ihre Kreditkarte. "Meine ist leider hier nicht gültig."
"Oh, von wo hat es sie denn hier hin verschlagen?", fragte er. Seine Augenbrauen zogen sich nach oben und es schien als würden sich seine ohnehin schon stechenden Augen noch intensiver in Ihre bohren. Sie überlegte ob Sie ihm antworten sollte. Sie müsste ja nicht jedem auf die Nase binden, wo Sie herkam.
"Jedenfalls kenne ich kein gutes Cafe hier."
