Description

This is just a render to move out of my comfort zone and lear/adapt some new tools and practices. Workflow: All of the walls, floors, mirrors and lights are made with primitives and native DAZ shaders. I then added a D-Former to the upright bag to identify the point-of-impact. Once rendered, I used Photoshop for the post-render work including the addition of a motion blur to the kicking leg. I'd appreciate your honest feedback on the blur-too much or not enough, etc. Thank you for checking this out and commenting. Great render! As far as the blur on this image goes...I think you have it just about right! Just keep in mind that blurs are often added in intentionally on the photo or render, to add a sense of motion! with cameras being what they are both in the real world and virtually( fast shutter speeds and special lenses almost eliminate blur completely)...an artist such as yourself oftentimes has to make the decision on when to add blur into your scenes and how much of it. Personally I sometimes do car animations where I desire some blur to create the sense of speed and often times find myself having crystal clear images instead...while I can do it within the software by tweaking the camera settings... I often times find it easier, to add it in post! Excellent work and very well done! I like it! :-)

Thank you, Johnny. This one was a tough decision as I liked the render either way. I've played with the DOF settings in the software as well and realized it is much simpler to accomplish during the post5-render work. Thank you again, much appreciated!
