This is a really good effort, I think you've captured the visual sense of what it might be like to stand on the surface of Io. Your visual scale for Jupiter is close - I think it might actually appear somewhat larger than you've shown - I use Celestia usually to set up my planetary scenes, and placing the camera POV directly on the surface of Io facing Jupiter provides a near match to this view. Well done.

Nice capture Alex.. I first thought this might have been influenced by the future movie release "Europa Report" then I realised I was on the wrong moon...Doh! While I love this image, I agree with the comment about the size of Jupiter. But I have another small criticism, the way you show it, to judge from the cloud pattern on Jupiter, Io is not in the proper plane of orbit. I think you know what I am talking about.
