INSOMNIA
Nightly visions
I try to catch,
In vain.
For alase,
When every grain
Falls in the hour glass,
Another hour has come to pass.
Not bitter, nor sour,
But worried
With the passing hour.
What dreams have you?
Mine are so few

You're a wonderful poet! I loved that.. it hit on my restless nights...how can you dream on those nights. When you finally fall asleep you've so little time for them.

Insomnia...is that what comes between unscheduled naps when you're trying to get something done? I wish restless nights were the exception but they seem to be the rule,as I am up nights working. And dreams are for those who sleep...reality is the curse of heavy mortality that gets heavier with each passing hour. That's what insommnia is to me.
