Description

I had chosen to try our new Submersible Independant Nautilus Kit for this dive, the lack of umbilicles and bulky oxygen tanks make moving around the bottom far easier. Cameras on the grab would let Tailspin effect recovery by himself, I was only there in case of unforseen snags...a sudden glint of light, in the corner of my eye, caught my attention. Turning, I peered into the gloom, there was definitely a light in the distance, then a second and a third. I became rather concerned, I had an uneasy feeling I knew what that was. I began moving towards the lights as more came on, surely it couldn't be, it was buried under 150 feet of silt. Nobody knew of it's existance but my late Grandfather and me, who could have discovered it and how did they gain entry? As I drew closer the giant form loomed out of the gloom, the water was murky with the silt thrown up as the enourmous structure was raised through the lake bed. The bottom of the Duck Pond sloped down and as I approached more of the giant 'mushroom' came into sight, the bottom section still buried in the silt.I stood for a moment, admiring my handywork until the gravity of this turn of events hit me. Peter Petty's crappy sonar would have found the B-25....a child with a crab net could find this...I had 7 hours to solve this and I was still 2 miles from 'Starbase Phasmid'......

"Abis, absys, adsis, abyss?" I got it right the last time, didn't I? Just be careful you don't fall into it. Nobody down below to help you up/out. Now you've really got my anticipation going. Quick! Where's my blood pressure medicine? Feels like an attack of anxiety coming up (or going down?). I can hardly wait. Who has gotten it on their sonar, if anyone? And just WHAT is it? Keep up the good work! :-)

Great image! I haven't seen a suit like that since I had a toy spaceman in the late 60's (Major Matt Mason I believe!). May I ask where you got the 3D model from?
