Description

One of the lion cubs from my last visit to Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. It was their first weekend on display, and it was raining, but they didn't seem to mind it much at all.

Such a sweet pose! I don't know how you manage to get shots of all these animals, even in the zoo. When we go, they're all inside hiding, or too far off in the distance to get a proper shot. You must have your pockets stuffed with steak or something! LOL!

Grand colors, lighting and textures in this capture of the little cub, Denise, apparently interested in something or other. Not old or smart enough to come in out of the rain. But they'll learn.
