At the end of some days, only a trip to the hot springs could make her feel like a queen again...
Sorry, lame title, lame story snippet.
Well, I'm not sure about this one. I wasn't even sure if I should post it since it's a bit outside my usual fare - I was even stumped figuring out the "genre" LOL!
It didn't start out as a project per se, it just kind of turned into one. It started out with me wanting to test out a new lighting setup, play with subsurface scattering, try out a few things that had been rattling around in my runtime forever, and mess around a bit with things like Carrara fog. Then I started saying things like, "Hmmm, I wonder how this would look," or "Gee, I remember such and such in my runtime might be fun here." Next thing you know, layer after layer of changes, this is what I had.
Seven hours to render this puppy, most of what you see here is "as rendered" with only a little postwork here and there 'cause I *really* didn't want to do any more trial renders of this one LOL...
Anyway, I kinda liked it so here it is, hope you like it too.
(No, I haven't forgotten Aranée, a lot of what I was testing here will appear in future installments. Just trying to kick myself a bit further along the Carrara learning curve LOL!)
