Description
MB3D, a tweak of Lenord's "Common Ground" parameters.
A few days ago, some thieves stole a heavy piece of metal, car and boat batteries and such from our house, my husband just had placed them in front of the door for loading them into the car five minutes later...just came in for a coffee, then went back outside and everything was gone - at 1 pm in full daylight and with all the neighbors around! Couldn't believe it...
There are a lot of gangs around here these days who specialized on steeling metal of all kinds. Must have been one of those I guess. As usual, the police won't catch them, I'm sure!
Anyway - when playing around with Len's params, my find reminded me on that, hence the title.

Great looking image Sue. The cost of copper has risen so high that it is a prime target for thieves. They will destroy many things just to get the copper from them. The police reported recently that several houses that had been sitting empty due to evictions they were stripped of most of their plumbing and wiring by thieves. The cost of repairs often make the homes not worth fixing.
Excellent tweaks, awesome job Sue. You betcha, if it's worth money and you leve it alone without locking it up it's gone. I read last year when shcool was getting ready to start back up half the schools in the district had had the Copper cores gutted out of the HVAC systems, now they're talking about a year round school schedule. They didn't just steal the copper, they stole the kids Summer Vacations too. Peace
It's getting so bad that we don't stick our recyclables at the curd until we see the truck coming because these folks ransack it if left out before they get here...I wouldn't mind so much if it weren't that they dump it all everywhere just to get the aluminum cans and leave the rest behind when departing with treasure...Sorry to hear ...glad that it was only what you left out and not being that you had been involved...who knows how far they will go to get what they want...
