Description
Would you mind
If I just sat here for a minute
And watched you dance in the rain
Would you mind
If I sang to you
While you sang to me
Would you mind
If we looked into each other’s eyes
And shared each other’s dreams
Would you mind
If I kissed your lips
If you kissed mine
Would you mind
If I held you in my arms
And told you I love you
Would you mind
Well I hit a pretty big milestone today. Today I wrote my 1,000th poem. Now I haven’t posted 1,000 poems but I have written that many. I remember when I thought it would be something if I wrote 250 poems. So this is really a accomplishment for me. There are a couple of reasons why I write so much. First of all is that the older I get the more poetic my soul seems to be getting and the second reason is when I first started writing poems I was 16 then when I hit 20 I went about 25 years without writing a single poem, so now if I go a week without writing something I start to get a little scared that I might have another long dry spell and I am getting to old for that lol. I wanted my 1,000th poem to be about what I love most. Women lol. I just love everything about them. So this poem is for all women. I have two wishes in life. My first wish is that I am able to flirt with women until the day I die and my second wish is that I am able to write about it. Lol. I hope everyone likes this poem. I can’t thank you enough for all of your support
Randy
P.S. my icon is a picture of me sitting on a bench looking at a beautiful Umatilla sunset. I am going to be using it for a while when I post a poem

No Randy I don't mind, it seems the older one gets the more in tune one becomes with what surounds them. Life can be very beautiful, but one must look hard sometimes, You have found what you are looking for & have expressed it through your beautiful words, & congratulations on that 1,000 poems. I'm sure there will be plenty more you will share with us. Glenda
