Ancient Travelers


In another place,
In another time.

We grew!
Grew to know
That,
Spirits,
would blend
again.

Back then,
Along that path,
We asked,
But, how?
How will
we know?

Yes!

Verily,
Radio played,
Our songs.
Life,
Pages turned,
And
Fires quickly
Burned.

Further along,
Our wonderings,
Blossomed,
And
Flourished,
Into pure,
Nebulous
Faith.
Into
Believing.
And Now,
Blending again,
Quietly,
You say to me,
"So good to see you."

And me?
Only,
The look
Of smugness
Paints
My face,

Yes!

As I spin
In wonder,
Dazzled by
The stars,
And
The sights,
In your eyes.

Tumbling,
Two tiny
raindrops
Falling toward,
A giant ocean.

Yes!

In This place,
In This time.

Passing the Flame


Lit candle,
Lights another.
Flame is free.
Free to roam this realm.
From what, O mysterious one,
Were you conceived?

Flame arrives,
Gives and Takes.
To Forms.
No ownership,
Just caretakers
Of Flame
Are we
