Thanks for comments on past renders, hope you enjoy this which is something slightly different from me.

This looks excellent and very realistic to me (well, except for the subject matter). The only problem I can see is the scale: the person and dragon look (to me) to be only inches tall. Another thought: it might be better to enhance the DOF effect so it looks like the picture was taken with a faster shot (enough to freeze all movement in the frame) or else maybe include some movement fuzziness. And I do love the idea of miniature battles happening in our gardens.
Thanks for the comments, guys. @FrankT, the DOF effect was rendered. I basically had the focus at the width of the female characters body, and as you get onto the blades and dragons wings it starts to become out of focus. @DangerousThing, I did have the scale thing in mind when I actually started constructing the scene. The dragons was much bigger than the human, but I wanted to fit them both into the scene, so I scaled the dragon down. I was actually going to name the render "Old Vs Young" with the young being the dragon, but I did not really feel I had to explain the render through the title. Also, I think the bamboo poles sort of throw the scale off as well. Most people actually assume bamboo poles are quite thin, but they can literally be 4-6 inches wide in some cases. I think personally, now that I am looking at the comments and looking at the render, the one thing that is missing is maybe some motion blur on the wings. So, the dragon is hovering in mid air, while she is leaping toward it to attack. Thanks again :D
