On the border France-Germany (french side), near Mosel river, north of Longwy, south of Trier (TrÃ¨ves), also near Schengen (european people know).
The name Malbrouck comes from Marlborough, Duke of, who stayed here in the XVIII th century during a war, but the castle is elder (XVth).
It has bee much restored and seems new.
Inside, you can see great exhibitons; presently, there is one with many photos of Robert Doisneau, a must.
From the castle, you can see the Power Station of Cattenom (yesterday's picture). The area is beautiful.
