The Muse by pixeluna ()
I drifted off for a short while,
And you suddenly disappeared out of sight,
Elusive as the dawn's first rays of light~
Gone to the farthest nowhere,
My sweet Muse,
In the deepest hours of total blankness,
I will linger here, awaiting for your return.
Now you see her, now you don't. But when she is around you just feel like your hands have wings and they can take you anywhere you want. A dedication to those whose muse is taking a short vacation. Hope she'll be back soon.
Thanks, Val for your charming Onna.

In Greek mythology, the Muse are the goddesses who inspire the creation of literature and the arts and were considered the source of the knowledge. Sources disagree concerning the number of the Muses, but there are three we know of from later Roman tradition: Melete (or practice), Mneme (or memory), Aoide (or song). I shall now add a fourth to this list. Pixeluna (or Jenny) as your work always inspires me and I have learned a lot about art I did not know from looking at your work as well as talking with you as we worked on different Poser projects together. Yes, you are a Muse, and I hope you never lose yours and stop inspiring us. This is so beautiful! 10+
~LOL, Bill (willpee), when my muse is gone, you won't see me posting here, I just bury myself with work instead. Yes, she gets abducted by aliens sometimes but always manages to come back (tee-hee). ~Val, you will definitely have her back, it takes time but she will be there for sure. Your images also inspired me and a lot of our friends here, so just keep creating. We all love to see your work. ~Rob, thank you so much, your work is inspiring as well and glad you had been posting again. Thanks to all for sharing your musings about your muse!
What I really love about this one is how you framed the scene with the branches above and below, the touch of the little bird on the branch and the delicious green color scheme. A wonderful depiction of a lost little muse and one hopes she finds her way back to her artist soon! Just a beautiful artwork! :)
