A Daz Studio render. I wanted to create an image that was reminiscent of a vintage-style pin-up. I decided to use the Renderosity freebie, "MM for Victoria 4 (morph only & eye maps)" by Yannek. For the skin maps I started with the V4 hi-res maps. I used the "shimmer" face map and made many changes to it in Photoshop, including lightening and adjusting the skin tone, re-shaping and re-positioning the eyebrows, adding eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, and lipstick, modifying the eye shadow to fit MM's eyes and, of course, the beauty mark. I changed the material channel settings quite a lot too. I also spent a good deal of time adjusting the Portia hair's channel settings.
I used Daz's Dynamic Tablecloth twice. For the lace (my texture) and for the blanket. It's not very evident in this render, but the blanket has impressions in it, like V4 was sinking into a mattress.
The jewelry is Anton's Diamonds from Daz, with my own material settings. The lightset is the free Dreamlight Studio Lights.
The background is actually just a large blue sphere I put the figure in. The lights made the blue look similar to using a gradient.
The only postwork done was the signature and blending the "horizon line" where the sphere and floor meet. I didn't want it to show. Nothing else was changed - everything appears just as it came from the render. I guess my philosophy was to do all the tweaking of the image in Daz Studio itself, rather than postworking it.

YAY!! I was hoping you would upload this render to your gallery. I loved it the minute you showed it to me, and I agree with the above comments about breaking down what you did and doing as much of the work in the initial render rather than having to depend on postwork. I've been doing that lately, especially with my artistic renders of your wonderful new Satin N Lace textures for the 2Cool or What? outfit and the Satin Sandals with Ribbons. Now I'm only adding sig/copyright and borders in Photoshop postworkm thanks to your great tip on how to get Vicki's skin to render nicer so I didn't have to add a Levels adjustment to brighten it up. ~wink~
