Description
In the war between darkness and light... there are the Victorious, and the Fallen.
This is a collaboration between wolandepiphanius and I.. This time i created the Fallen. I used a demon because an Angel was the first fallen.
Now wolandepiphanius is going to take a png of this and use it in creating the Victorious side of this conflict. I cant wait to see what he creates!!!!
Ok, so I really worked hard on this image! Harder than any before!
I used additional textures on the Alt Diffuse.
And added Muscle and Vein maps to the Alt Displacement and Bump nodes. Hmmm...
(I wonder if I could have combined them on just one node. Hellova time to consider that idea!)
I added maps and tones to the Alt Specularity.
I created a gel for the IBL lighting from the background. (Proud of that one!)
I also used some old funky green wings from PoserPro4 I found, and modified a texture map to fit them! (I’m proud of that also!!)
Moreover, even though I was not satisfied with the helmet/horns... I could not find any that I liked better so I left them as is! (Sigh, nothing's perfect I guess huh!?)
All in all, I am pretty happy with the way this image turned out!

Looks like the left wing is occluding part of his head. His reddish color seems a bit like a plastic toy to my eyes, but that's sort of typical now-a-days. That out of the way, it's pretty good. The pose is good and the scene is dynamic. The special effects are spot on. I still want to see the demon dogs you told me about last week! XD LOLOLOL

Wonderfully dramatic scene. With the clear night sky, and the tall trees and mist it seems a very cold place. He is crashing down as a mass of destructive heat. I love the visible heat coming off of him. I wonder what kind of damage he's going to cause on impact. I like the curved outline of the trees. They seem to be reaching out in anticipation of his fall. Great pose. Body curled in on itself, yet one arm reaching out in a futile attempt to ward off the inevitable. Excellent lighting, textures, and details. Cool detail and lighting on his skin and face. All the steps you did are Greek to me, but the outcome is terrific!
