Description

Duxford.. Really, for time I'd ever seen it there and from what was said, first time they had allowed it! Apache Roll Demo, with load bangs and pyro's. Not as explosive as I missed at Cosford but still made the alarms go off. Best shot I could get wuith no no zoom lens folks. Next time huh? RAF Scampton Show maybe? Rob

This where the Cobra was born when the Cheyenne rotor tips hit the tail boom in resonant tests. Books I have read say the transport helos are limited to 120 degrees of roll to either side. Nothing at all on rolling pullouts like the limit on Sabrejets.

Eeeeeh! A roll in a chopper, yikes! Impressive! Was this pyro-tech or real ammo? Either way, must have been dramatic to experience! Keep up the good work! :-)

Excellent display of airborne ordnance in this fine foto, with I assume is a MIG-15 at the lower right. And maybe some day tallpindo will congratulate you on your photography.
