Wow! Looks like they are very security minded - red and black anti-torpedo netting? From this angle it looks like someone has tried to smash it with a big news paper, as if it were a bug (flat top). Keep up the good work. This is an unusual angle of view. :-)
I was there in Norfolk while this beauty was being built and commissioned. Actually got to take a dependents day cruise on her and witness an f-14 break the sound barrier at sea. Awesome powerful ship. Still have my plank owner punch outs somewhere around here.
