Description

This is a scratchboard drawing of icarus flying too close to the sun. You can see the first feather falling from him as the wax of his wings begins to melt. At the same time, this is a triumphant image, showing the indominable spirit of all mortals even in the face of death. We always strive for more, sometime to the detriment of our own lives.
