Description

I know this is just the simple C4D stick figure man, but I picked up this month's 3D World Mag and wanted to try out a technique they showcased involving volumetric lights shining through doorways and haloing the subject of an image. Anyway, I thought the result was kind of cool.

There's no need to do a hugely complicated trial for a technique - you've proved it works and you've managed it. It's pretty neat, and it's another tool you have to use later on.

Ah the 3D World tutorial. And a good result too. Another one that I've yet to try. All you need try now is the stormy ocean one. :)

Tutorial or not this is an excellent image you need not be so apologetic for such good work. Lighting any scene properly can be one of the most difficult things to do. It also has an arty statement to it - very interperative to the viewer.
