Description

this is the baddy from my novel (well really it is Raven for M3 from DAZ) wearing the BDU from ontarget3d.com and carrying panko's weapons (where would I be without his poses and weapons and gear) and using pankos vietnam GI gear. I save a scene inventory and then save the .obj into the same folder. The only thing I had to adjust was the hair - it was way too shiny so I turned down it's shinyness in vue materials editor. No postwork whatsover in this one. BTW the low poly guy is an enemy by EPICI

Good info, and good title, definitely got my attention, as 8.5 recently decided to forget where all the textures lived on an M4 I recently imported. I will give your technique a try. Great pose and expression on the guy. Although as a nit pick, his right eyeball has turned just a tad too far and is squishing his tear duct. And his left hand could use a little more grip and a little less wrist-break. I must admit posing that second hand grip with a rifle is always very time consuming for me. One thing that sometimes helps, I'll give the left hand Inverse Kinematics and parent the hand to the rifle. While the rifle is parented to the right hand which isn't IK. That way if I do reposition the right hand for a different shot I don't have to start over with the left. Not a solution for everything.

I think your Poser scene looks great in Vue. I've been trying to get the hang of Vue lighting, too, but it looks like you've got the basics down. Nice picture.
