Description

“Putin says Russia did not interfere in our elections. I can’t imagine why they would.” ~ D. Trump “Mr. bin Laden says Al Qaeda didn’t destroy the World Trade Towers. I can’t imagine why they would.” ~ G.W.Bush “Emperor Hirohito says Japan didn’t bomb Pearl Harbor. I can’t imagine why they would.” ~ F.D. Roosevelt “John Dillinger says he doesn’t rob banks. I can’t imagine why he would.” ~ J. Edgar Hoover Yeah, sounds pretty stupid when those other guys say it too.

There's an old joke; "How do you know when a politician is lying... their lips move." It has never been more true! Except now it also happens when his thumbs move al well. The only thing that continues to absolutely stagger me about Donald Dimwit is that he actually thinks the rest of the world is stupid as he is!

Unfortunately, Trump still has strong support from united states citizens. Extremely embarrassing and deeply disappointing 😞 Hmmmm, should we spend more money on bullets or books? I'm thinking books. Better educated people make better choices. Excellent image, by the way, very well done.

He may well be but you know what our great satirist Will Rogers said about politicians.

“Every time they make a joke it's a law. And every time they make a law it's a joke.”

This abomination disgraces the office of President and the USA. The title of POTUS should not be in the same thought, sentence as this beast. He is a crook and fraud (among a long list of other nasty things). Furthermore, little doubt exists that he is a Russian asset, a useful idiot, a traitor. Those individuals who still support the beast are aiding and abetting the beast and are also complicit in treason

Tell me how you really feel. {;->

The sad part is that the man I call the Orange Blob had a seventy year history available for anyone to examine. Most voters couldn't be bothered. Just ask the people in his hometown of New York City how they feel about him. He turned my uncle and cousins, all life-long Republicans, into Democrats.

I saw this the second it went up, but I wasn't commenting at that point. (I was barely writing anything at that point.) But it's always great when you post, so I'm happy to finally come here and comment. When you put Trump's denial in the mouths of other figures (above), it drives home the point. People like Chomsky talk about how our back-alley power-brokers did much damage to other countries' elections, in years past; and there's no denying that. But, though I have respect for his mind and whistle-blowing of the horrors of power, I can't stomach his imbalance, and the one-sidedness of his view. While we've done our damages, we've also attacked our damages, one after the next; and worked diligently to rein in our politicos and policy makers when they've gone so far off the rails. We've tried hard. So we should be just as hard on others when they try to invade our institutions, or any institutions. Europe is as afraid of Putin as we are---they're not 'laughing' at us (as Chomsky suggests---sometimes I just don't know where his head goes to): They've been messed up by Putin and his entourage in very bad ways; and they're much closer to his front door than we are. So, in steps Trump, the biggest egotistical loudmouth bully teenager ever to occupy the white house; and he does what should potentially be a positive thing: Making a connection with a powerful foe; and what does he do? He stains it with embarrassing blindness, self-service, insults to our intelligence and other institutions---in front of the whole freaking world---and an unbelievable obeisance to Putin right after he trashed our allies in Europe! Jesus! He's a nightmare! Something out of a play; I'm not sure even Shakespeare could've come up with this guy. So your image and words hit the nail on the head. That soccer ball seems to sum it up: It turns the whole thing into a big game. (And Putin won.) And then to watch Trump give his "I meant 'would-n't', not 'would'" speech? He didn't even say it like he meant it. I mean, he's almost "in" on the joke. It's theater! The one saving grace is that he's such a buffoon, most of our ally leaders don't take him seriously; so the world so far hasn't declared war on him. It's heartening to see the swell of opposition for the coming election: If Putin and the gerrymanderers don't mess it up, we have a chance of taking half the congress away from this monster. And maybe getting enough dems in the senate to keep the other side from going further off the rails. (My father was a New Deal Democrat, but he respected the conservative side. If he were alive today, he'd say the Republicans have sunken to the pits of hell right now...) Perfect upload for this event. And yeah, Russia IS doing damage, and royally so. And for the president to act this way after trashing Europe? and Nato? Has Trump ever read a book? (And now he wants to lower the pollution standards in cars...just what the world needs...) Always good to see you here, Mark. Always great when you post something.
