Description
Hyporea, a cave mushroom, rarely seen in the world above, this mushroom grows just a few millimeters high. The semi-transparent skin tends to react to any light, especially a miner's lamp, in such a way that it seems to glow. Few specimens survive a trip above ground as sunlight causes it to shrivel and die. Found abundantly in the caverns under the rainforests of Central and South America.

A fictional story. However, I like mushrooms and have named my company, Hyporea, after this one image that's been in my mind for years. Now it's been rendered.
All glass material. Was to be submitted to the Bryce glass challenge, but I've changed my mind. ;-)

Lovely render of a rare and delicate object!! Its always satisfying to bring an idea to light, especially after a few years, though this image survived the journey into the light better than the fictional Hyporea would have!

Well this is certainly a winner to these eyes! While it can be a challenge to make good art with lots of stuff in a scene, it is even a more amazing achievement to make Great art with economy. You have proven yourself a master artist with this strong creation!!!
