I like the composition of this piece very much. The mother appears perfectly place in upper 1/3 point. The lighting is exquisite and the pale colors give a feeling of cold. I like the way the water movement has been blurred to a mirror-like effect. As a landscape photographer I do have a comment. The way the water is presented would be what one would expect from a very long exposure of at least 30 seconds. That way you would blur all the details of ripples in the water and would create an mistiness from moving fog arising from the water surface. This is as the work is presented and in terms of landscape it is beautifully done. However, it does not work with the bears because then they would be blurred, even showing as ghosts, because they would be moving across the image. They appear here as if they were shot at a fast shutter speed. So, for me, there is a mismatch of perceptions between the bears and their landscape.
